Who we are
Good Cxnt ("we", "us") is an Australian online business. You can contact us through the Contact link on this site. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Collection notice (APP 5)
When you make a preview or order, we collect: the photo you upload (which shows a person's face), the first name and relationship you enter, and technical data such as a hashed IP address used to stop abuse.
At checkout, Stripe collects your name, email, phone, delivery address and payment details. We receive your name, email, phone, delivery address and order details from Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
We collect this to make your free preview, make and deliver your calendar, provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. If you don't provide it, we can't make a preview or fill your order.
Photos of faces
A photo of someone's face can be sensitive. You must only upload a photo of an adult (18+) who has agreed, or of yourself. We use the photo only to make the preview and calendar you asked for. We don't use it to identify anyone, we don't sell it, and we don't use it to train AI models.
Every photo is checked automatically (it must show one adult, and no nudity or harmful content) before any image is made.
Who we share it with, and overseas disclosure (APP 8)
Supabase stores the photos, previews and order records, hosted in the European Union (Paris, France).
Google (the Gemini API) checks the photo and makes the images. It may process data in the United States or other countries where Google operates. We use the paid API service and ask that requests are not stored.
Stripe processes payments and may process data in Australia, the United States and other countries.
Our print and delivery partners receive the finished calendar images and your delivery details so they can print and post your order.
These providers are overseas and are not bound by the APPs. We choose providers with strong security and contracts, but by using Good Cxnt you acknowledge that APP 8.1 won't apply to those disclosures, as allowed by APP 8.2(b). If you don't agree, please don't upload a photo.
How long we keep it
Free previews: the uploaded photo and preview are deleted within 30 days.
Orders: photos and calendar images are deleted within 60 days after your order ships. We keep order and payment records (with no photos) for as long as tax law requires.
You can delete your photo straight away with the "Delete my photo" link, or by contacting us.
Marketing (Spam Act 2003)
We only send marketing emails if you opt in. Every marketing email identifies us and has a working unsubscribe link. Order emails (receipts and order updates) aren't marketing.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Photos are stored in private storage, available only through short-lived links. Access is limited to what's needed to run the service.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting us through the Contact link on this site. We'll reply within 30 days.
Complaints
Contact us through the Contact link on this site first. If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
